| This is my Fancy Indian Costume.It is made from real deerskin that is hand burnt around the edges for a real on the plains look! It is sewn with sinew onto a rabbit fur pad.The indian necklace is hand beaded and has a beaded rossette in the center with deerskin fringe.The bridle has a beaded headstall with a sinew noseband that is adjustable. | My new Indian Maiden's costume is made for the comfort and beauty of a plain's indian womans' horse! The bridle is adjustable with a sliding ring on the throat braid. Delicate seed beads and real guinea feathers decorate this costume in all the right places.I use real deerskin and burn the edges to show wear marks that would be found naturally in this type of costume. |
| The girth adjusts just like a real girth on a western saddle that the indian's would have adopted from the white man.Draped across the rump of the indian horse is a wonderfully detailed beaded show piece.A beaded neck piece falls across the withers and ends in a delicate deerskin fringe. |

| I have discovered in beading my latest 2 sets that I can accomplish much more detail and realisim using a size 15/0 bead,than the usual size 11/0 I have been using.So all beaded indian sets from 11/2003 on~will be beaded with size 15/0 seed beads. |
